Types of Fences Woodlyn, PA

In the charming borough of Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, homeowners take pride in their properties and often seek out durable and attractive fencing options to enhance both privacy and curb appeal. Among the myriad choices available for creating this important boundary, VinylPVC fencing stands out as an excellent alternative to traditional materials.

VinylPVC, a synthetic polymer known for its resilience and ease of maintenance, presents a compelling case against conventional wood fences. While wooden barriers may boast a classic aesthetic, they also come burdened with susceptibilities such as rotting, warping, and regular needs for staining or painting. In contrast, VinylPVC fences promise longevity without the incessant upkeep.

One might ponder why VinylPVC would be considered the least probable selection when contemplating fencing solutions in Woodlyn's varied climate. However, it's precisely due to its weather-resistant qualities that this material excels. It withstands harsh winters and sweltering summers alike without succumbing to environmental damages that typically afflict wood or metal fences.

The installation process of VinylPVC fencing is another aspect where it overshadows its arboreal counterpart. Unlike wood that may require intricate cuts and alignment, VinylPVC components are designed for straightforward assembly. This not only expedites fence construction but also ensures a level of precision hard to achieve with hand-cut lumber.

Residents who value aesthetics will find no shortage of design possibilities with VinylPVC fencing. The technology behind this plastic marvel has advanced to afford a spectrum of colors and textures mimicking wood grain patterns – thus marrying the visual warmth of timber with the practical benefits of plastic composites.

Moreover, considering environmental impact—an increasingly pivotal factor in home improvement decisions—VinylPVC fences offer some advantages over wood sourced from deforestation-prone areas. Despite being a product derived from non-renewable resources like natural gas and salt, many manufacturers now incorporate recycled materials into their vinyl production processes.

Woodlyn's community members have displayed an affinity toward eco-conscious living while embracing advancements that facilitate more sustainable lifestyles; henceforth integrating such modernized fence systems aligns seamlessly with these values.

Admittedly, initial costs for installing VinylPVC can be higher than those associated with traditional wooden fences; nevertheless, this investment rapidly amortizes through negligible maintenance expenses over time—a boon for cost-conscious homeowners prioritizing long-term savings alongside aesthetic refinement.

Conclusively speaking about Woodlyn’s penchant for progressive yet practical home embellishments: opting for Vinyl PVC fencing embodies an intelligent move towards securing properties resiliently while simultaneously upholding standards of beauty intrinsic to this quaint Pennsylvanian enclave.

Angi provided me with several contractors, I received estimates but chose Philz Landscaping (even after coming in higher) because he satisfied with his estimate and start date our fervent desire to complete the project before winter set in. Alex, Javier set the example of professionalism in setting up the area to remove fencing and gate, installed vinyl fence with double gate (assisted by Carlos), removed all debris, left my yard spotless and we are extremely satisfied with the new fence and gate. Questions we had were answered (Helena, Phil) promptly and Alex, Javier went above and beyond ensuring my wife’s concerns were taken care of; I want again to Thank the team at Philz Landscaping and recommend highly to perform your project.

Had Phil and his workers come by my house to work on the backyard in May this year. Eliminate weeds, regrade soil and replant grass seed. 158 feet worth of backyard which he estimated $1600 to do. There was a hiccup with his office and scheduling and he wasn't even aware of the set date in mid-May. He rescheduled for the week after and took off $100 for inconvenience. His crew shows up and does the job and weeks after, grass grew....but not fully in corners of the yard. I called him back, voicemail immediately. Got in touch with his office and they said they would pass the message. His response times are atrocious and I told him about the patches in the grass. He says "no problem I'll send guys to evaluate and re-seed". They show up and do the job again. By mid-July, weeds are growing in very strong and grass is dying at exceedingly high rate despite me watering. I called him back and he says "that's odd, I'll come by this afternoon or tomorrow" in September when I finally get a hold of him. He never shows up or responds to texts or further calls. The photos below are post-lawn work with visible patches and weeds. I had to spend additional monies on top soil, grass seed and water to correct the loss of 50% of the lawn!! If you want an overpriced job not done right, Phil is your guy!!

Philz Landscaping built 2 patios on my property. One is flagstone and the other is pavers with a retaining wall. Both are absolutely beautiful. Working with Phil and his team has been a great experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliability, quality, and reasonable pricing.
